This week we have a sketch challenge:

Here is my take:

Everything you see here came from one Stampin’ Up Paper Pumpkin kit!  These kits really help me out when I need a card in a hurry, because I can admit that I am a TOTAL procraftinator! While I love making cards and have 100’s a few on hand, I never seem to have the kind I need made when I need it.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, thanks for stopping by!

This week’s Stampin’ Celebration is this pretty inspiration photo!

The more I see this card the more I fall in love with it.  I was on the fence about getting this stamp set thinking I wouldn’t use it enough but, while this is just my first card with it, I will be using it a lot.  It is so much fun to color.

I think I understand the current trend of adult coloring better now because I had a lot of fun picking out colors and actually coloring.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you join us for the challenge!

This is not what I had set out to make for the hop this month but I am happy with how it turned out.  I like the clean and simpleness of this card.  My inspiration came from a beautiful card by Mary Fish.

I think this would be really cute with a small bow and sleigh bell in the center.  I think I might have to make one and see!

(btw-I think this is the first Christmas card I have ever made that did not have glitter or some kind of bling on it…)

Thanks for stopping by and happy hopping!

Also added to the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge this week!

Wonderful Time of Year FMS209

My local crafty friends Amy & Kimberly threw out a challenge this week and I am actually joining in!  It is for Freshly Made Sketches #209.

This is much prettier in person than in the crummy picture.  I stamped the snowflake in Hero Arts Unicorn and heat embossed it with Stampin’ Ups iridescent ice.  It is not overly glittery but give a subtle shimmer under the lights.

Thanks for stopping by!
