My card today is based on this sketch:

Starving Artist Stamps

These space guys are so cute!  I stamped the city on clear cardstock and used a circle die to cut it out.  I thought about coloring it in but thought it looked more”spacey” with the shiny cardstock showing through.  I searched all over for a sentiment that said you are out of this world but I couldn’t even piece that sentiment together and then I ran across this one that works too!  That little guy is so cute I might just follow him!

Thanks for joining us at Poppy Sketches, I can’t wait to see what you create!

I love this little doodle factory mummy from starving artist stamps!  He is just so cute and not at all scary.  I like living in my happy little world where everything is fun and cute.

My card today is based on this sketch:

Supplies: Pumpkin Stamp Starving Artiststamps; Basket of Blessing Sentiment PTI; Cardstock PTI Kraft, Dark Chocolate, Rustic White; Ink PTI Dark Chocolate; Copic Marker colors: Y15,Y21,Y26, YR04, YR23, YR24, YR27, YG91, YG93; Star: Recollections.

I first stamped the pumpkin image on scratch paper and cut it out to make a mask then I placed it where I wanted my main center image.  I inked up and stamped it off once before stamping it on the cardstock on top of both sides of my mask, which left the perfect opening for my main image stamped in full ink.  I colored the pumpkins with copics and then tore the tops of both panels and curled them with my fingers.

Fall is my favorite season of the year.  I love the nice sunny days, the crisp evenings and all the lovely changing colors.   It reminds me to slow down and enjoy the beautiful world around me and to be grateful for life I have.  I drive by two pumpkin patches on my way home from work and it is so fun to watch all the children (big & small) picking out the perfect pumpkin to take home.  Though my son is out of the house now, I still love going to the pumpkin patch and finding my way through the corn mazes in the Fall.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Stamping!
