Time for the Papertrey Ink Feb Blog Hop!
This month’s inspiration photo:
Supplies:  PTI Black & Raspberry Fizz Cardstock; Delicata Gold Ink; Ranger Gold Pearl Embossing Powder;
Simon Says Stamp Sentiment; Laurel Stamp? Pretty Pink Posh Gold Sequins

I love the inspiration photo!  I made this card last minute so I used stamps that I had on hand which weren’t PTI but I was able to use the beautiful PTI cardstock!  It really is my favorite cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by and happy hopping!

Autumn Blessings September PTI Hop

Time for the Papertrey Ink September Blog Hop!
This month’s challenge Autumn:

Supplies:  SU Wreath Stamp & Die; PTI Wood grain IP; Sentiment Stamp; Bird Die; Kraft & Black CS; Watercolor Paper

I inked the leaves up with several PTI colors and then lightly spritzed them with water and stamped onto watercolor paper.  The bird on the banner is more of a rusty red color but the wreath got really washed out when I played with the color settings so I finally left it alone.  I have a similar card I made earlier this week just click here to see it!

Hello Fall SC113

This week’s Stampin’ Celebration is this cool sketch challenge!

I’m a sucker for wreaths, I have two over my fireplace year round that I change for the seasons or holidays.  This Christmas stamp set was one of my favorite last year and I thought it would look great inked up for fall.  I don’t know if it was the lighting, the camera or the operator but I could not get a picture that showed how pretty this is in real life.  I inked the leaves up with several colors and then lightly spritzed them with water and stamped onto watercolor paper.  I did the same thing for the sentiment banner but not the sentiment itself.  I like how the textured paper gives the sentiment a kind of vintage feel.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you join us for the challenge!

Happy Birthday Amy Blog Hop!

Happy Birthday Amy Tsuruta!
I have met many wonderful and talented people since I started blogging nine years ago.  (wow that went by fast!)  Amy hosts our crafty group whenever we can get together and she really is as nice in person as she seems on the web!  She has a wonderful laugh always has a kind word and smile on her face.  I am totally blessed by having met her and the other fun, talented and sweet ladies from our group.

The card I made was cased from this beautiful card by Nicole Gavaldon.

This stamp and die set is Charmed from Mama Elephant (I think that sleeping fox is so cute!)  I water colored with Tim Holtz Distress Markers.

Please hop on over to see what the ladies have made for Amy!
